She was married to Castleton W. Powers on Sep
20 1888 in Putnam County, Indiana. Marriage in Putnam Co. Records Vol 11
Page96. Castleton W. Powers was born in 1856.
The 1870 Census of Floyd Township Page 10 (Putnam Co., Indiana) sho ws a Casilton
Powers, age 14 as the son of Harry (86 from North Carolin a) and Mary Powers(45
from Indiana). Also a brother Newton Powers (9 Fr om Indiana). I have not checked
to see if this is the same Castilton or no t, but I believe it is. If it is he
would have been born about 1856 in Ind iana. Sarah C. Monnett and Castleton
W. Powers had the following children:
