DEATH COMES TO ROSCOE MONNETT, WEDNESDAY
The death of Roscoe E. Monnett, age 49 occurred Wednesday morning about 9 :30
o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Emma Figg on West Franklin Str eet, following
an illness of twenty weeks of an internal infection of t he side. Mr. Monnett
had lived in this city for the past twenty years comi ng to this city from Hendricks
County. Besides the widow, Mrs. Mary Monnet t, he leaves two stepdaughters; Ida
and Marguerite Maxfield; one sister, M rs. Emma Figg and two brothers, Alva Monnett
and Edgar Monnett all of th is city.
The funeral will be conducted at the residence of Mrs. Figg on West Fran klin
Street, Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with Mrs. Grace Black in char ge of the
services. Burial will be in the Groveland Cemetery. The nephe ws will act as
pall bearers.
