Alva L. Monnett Called By Death

Alva Lee Monnett, age 76 years, Maple Heights, died this morning at t he Putnam County Hospital after an illness of four or five years.
He is survived by the wife, Mrs. Lillie May Monnett, three sons, Harle y, Hallie, and Clifford and two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Chadd and Mrs. Denn is Sutherlin, all of Greencastle.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from t he McCurry Funeral home with burial in Forest Hill cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home.

He was married to Lillie May Leonard (daughter of Lawrence Jackson and Mahaliah Leonard) on Aug 24 1890 in Morgan County, Indiana. ⁽⁸⁹⁾ Lillie May Leonard was born on Oct 2 1871. She died on Oct 15 1951 in Cloverdale, Putnam Co., IN. She Burial Location in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, In.. Alva Lee Monnett and Lillie May Leonard had the following children:
